- Bearer of the dark garland that is the beloved of Murari, who makes the three worlds as straw, remover of the three worlds' sorrow, who shakes off arrogance in the clusters of bowers on banks favorable to the mind, may Kalinda's daughter ever wash away our mind's impurity.
She who humbles the three worlds and removes their sorrow acts on the mind's banks where Krishna sported; when pride is shaken from the heart's groves, the stain on consciousness yields to the current of devotion.

Tinted by Krishna's limbs, her waters show that the Lord's presence colors every sacred stream; the nectar that removes sin works through love's contact, purifying the mind that turns toward the beloved of Nanda.

- Washing away sins of all born beings through contact with shining waves, cuckoo of devotion rich in fresh sweetness, delighting the daily round of servant swans dwelling on her banks, may Kalinda's daughter wash away our mind's impurity.
Waves that wash every creature's fault and nourish devotion's cuckoo-call point to consciousness refreshing all levels of life; those who dwell on her bank as humble servants find the day's round turned into glad service of the Self.

- Purifier of the earth through the companionship of her flow, giver to the river, may Kalinda's daughter ever wash away our mind's impurity.
Her beauty beyond words and breeze on the banks of divine play hint at reality exceeding speech; the current that purifies the earth invites the mind to let go of fatigue and rest in the flow that accompanies all movement.

Compared to the autumn moon's rays and skilled in worship through offering-water, she teaches that outer rite and inner luminosity meet in one stream; ritual becomes contemplation when the mind knows the goddess as the flow itself.

- Taking delight in the rapture of Radha's limbs in water-sport, sharing in the limb-contact hard for any other to gain with her own lord, exceedingly skilled at dividing the seven sleeping oceans she herself gave, may Kalinda's daughter wash away our mind's impurity.
She who shares Krishna's embrace in water-sport and once split the seven oceans shows Shakti as the power of the Lord in play and in cosmic deed; the mind's stain dissolves where divine intimacy and world-sustaining might are known as one.

- Abounding in clinging love for Achyuta's limbs fallen in the water, garlanded with the dark champaka at the end of restless Radha's hair, ever served by Narada when the lord descends to bathe, may Kalinda's daughter wash away our mind's impurity.
Clinging to Achyuta's limbs and served by Narada at every bath, she embodies love that will not release the Lord; such steadfast clinging of the heart to the supreme is itself the bath that cleanses the mind.

- Ever sweet with bowers fit for Nanda's son's sport, blazing with pollen of full jasmine and kadamba risen from her banks, ferry across the ocean of becoming for men who plunge in her waters, may Kalinda's daughter wash away our mind's impurity.
Her groves sweet with jasmine dust and her power to carry bathers across samsara unite beauty and liberation; those who immerse in her waters cross the sea of becoming because the sacred stream and the Lord's playground are one grace.
