This page documents where the Sanskrit root text for each stotra in the library comes from, how recensions were chosen, and how to suggest corrections.
Editorial method
Adi Shankaracharya Stotras is an independent edition published by Vyasanga. Devanagari is retained as the canonical digital source. IAST and regional-script views are transliterations, not separate language translations. English study notes are modern editorial reflections from an Advaita-informed perspective; they are not Shankara's own commentary or a traditional bhāṣya.

How recensions were chosen
Popular stotras circulate in slightly different verse counts and line readings. This edition states its working verse count on each work hub and does not claim to settle every textual dispute.
Where available, the primary Sanskrit reference is the recension hosted at sanskritdocuments.org, identified in the table below as sanskritdocuments-standard. Flagship works may also reflect corrections from printed editions and community suggestions recorded in the project's correction workflow.
