About this stotra
Lakshmi Nrisimha Pancharatnam is a short hymn attributed to Sri Adi Shankaracharya. In five verses the Acharya addresses the mind as a bee (*cetobhṛṅga*) wandering uselessly in the desert of samsara, urging it to drink the honey of Lakshmi-Nrisimha's pure lotus feet.
Each verse closes with the refrain *bhaja bhaja lakṣmīnarasiṃhānaghapadasarasijamakarandam*. The stotra uses vivid analogies from mother-of-pearl, the silk-cotton flower, and dream to turn the seeker toward the Lord.
