Ganapati Stotram

Ganapati Stotram is a hymn attributed to Sri Adi Shankaracharya, opening with the memorable line on the Lord's golden radiance and single white tusk. The verses gather vivid iconographic detail: pasha and ankusha, serpent yajnopavita, four arms, lotus seat, crown and jewels, chamara whisks, and the six-syllable Om as his inner form.

The stotra moves from outer praise to the Lord worshipped by Brahma and Vishnu, remembered in great sacrifices, and finally to the joy of devoted hearts and the gift of liberation through Vakratunda, the curved-trunk Lord.

This edition presents the five main verses of the stotra, omitting the separate phala shruti verse sometimes appended in traditional paddhatis, as with Ganesha Pancharatnam. It pairs naturally with the Pancharatnam and Bhujangam for Ganesha worship.
