Last updated: 2026-08-19. By using Adi Shankaracharya Stotras (https://adishankarastotras.com), you agree to these terms. The site is operated by Vyasanga in Mumbai, India.
Purpose of the site
Adi Shankaracharya Stotras provides Sanskrit stotras, transliteration, and editorial study notes for devotional reading and general education. The site is not a substitute for qualified spiritual guidance, medical advice, legal advice, or formal ritual instruction.
Content and attribution
Sanskrit hymn texts are traditional recensions transmitted through religious and scholarly tradition. Where authorship is traditional rather than historically documented, the site uses phrasing such as “traditionally attributed to Adi Shankaracharya.”
Philosophy and study notes are modern editorial reflections from an Advaita-informed perspective. They are not Shankara's own commentary, a traditional bhāṣya, or instructions for tantric or formal ritual practice.
Original editorial text, site design, illustrations, and software on this website are protected by copyright and belong to Vyasanga unless otherwise stated. Ancient hymn texts are not claimed as exclusive property of this site.
