Kalyana Vrishti Stavah

Kalyana Vrishti Stavah, the "Hymn of the Shower of Auspiciousness," is addressed to Tripurasundari and traditionally attributed to Sri Adi Shankaracharya. Its opening compares service at the Mother's lotus feet to rains of blessing and to the sacred lamps of Lakshmi's self-choice ceremony. The stotra moves through praise of her glance, the power of her seed-syllable Hrim, and the cooling grace she shares with Shiva.

Longer recensions contain additional verses, but this edition follows the eight-verse core preserved in many Sri Vidya lineages. The poem does not bargain for worldly gain alone: it seeks fullness (*pūrṇatā*), stable refuge, and a heart whose longing has been gathered into devotion.
