कल्पद्रुमैरभिमतप्रतिपादनेषु कारुण्यवारिधिभिरम्ब भवत्कटाक्षैः । आलोकय त्रिपुरसुन्दरि मामनाथं त्वय्येव भक्तिभरितं त्वयि बद्धतृष्णम् ॥८॥

- With your glances, O Mother, oceans of compassion.

- Look upon me, O Tripurasundari, without a lord.
- त्वय्येव भक्तिभरितं त्वयि बद्धतृष्णम् ॥८॥
- Filled with devotion in you alone, with thirst bound in you alone.
The closing plea asks the compassionate Mother's glance upon the refugeless devotee whose only thirst is for her. When desire is fixed in the Divine alone, the seeker finds the Lord that was never absent.
