Ardhanarishwara Stotram celebrates the Lord who is half Shiva and half Parvati - golden and fair on one side, ash-white and ascetic on the other. Shankaracharya contemplates each contrast of form, ornament, and power, saluting both Shiva and Shiva together in every verse.
