भवानि त्वं दासे मयि वितर दृष्टिं सकरुणां मिति स्तोतुं वाञ्छन् कथयति भवानि त्वमिति यः । तदैव त्वं तस्मै दिशसि निजसायुज्यपदवीं मुकुन्दब्रह्मेन्द्रस्फुटमकुटनीराजितपदाम् ॥२२॥

- O Bhavani, bestow on me, Your servant, a compassionate glance
- मिति स्तोतुं वाञ्छन् कथयति भवानि त्वमिति यः ।
- thus wishing to praise, one who says 'Bhavani, You'
- तदैव त्वं तस्मै दिशसि निजसायुज्यपदवीं
- to him You at once grant the path of union with Yourself
- मुकुन्दब्रह्मेन्द्रस्फुटमकुटनीराजितपदाम् ॥२२॥
- with feet honoured by the crown-waters of Mukunda, Brahma and Indra
Calling on the Goddess as Bhavani opens the path of union with Her. The name itself is grace; in Advaita, the devotee who turns inward discovers that the sought and the seeker are one in the Self.
