- स्तोष्ये भक्त्या विष्णुमनादिं जगदादिं यस्मिन्नेतत्संसृतिचक्रं भ्रमतीत्थम् ।
- With devotion I shall praise Vishnu, the beginningless one, the world's origin, in whom this wheel of samsara revolves thus.
- यस्मिन् दृष्टे नश्यति तत्संसृतिचक्रं तं संसारध्वान्तविनाशं हरिमीडे ॥१॥
- By seeing whom that wheel of samsara is destroyed - Him, destroyer of samsara's darkness, Hari, I praise.
The wheel of becoming turns only in the Lord who is also its ground; to see Him is to see that the cycle never truly bound the Self. Praise of Hari turns the mind from the revolving world toward the still awareness in which birth and death appear and vanish.

- By whom it is pervaded, by whom it is known through pleasure and pain - Him, destroyer of samsara's darkness, Hari, I praise.
The world arises from a fraction of the Lord yet He remains whole, for manifestation does not divide consciousness. What is pervaded and known as pleasure and pain is ultimately known only in the one Self that is Hari.

- Who is unmanifest, dispersed and gathered, the real and the unreal - Him, destroyer of samsara's darkness, Hari, I praise.
Hari is all-knowledge, all beings, and bliss itself, yet also the unmanifest in which the many and the one are resolved. The distinction of real and unreal holds only in appearance; in the Lord both dissolve into non-dual awareness.
