Word breakdown
- Resplendent with armlets and necklaces, like a billion rising suns.
- With bimba-fruit lips, a charming smile and row of teeth, adorned in yellow garments.
- Whose feet are served by Vishnu, Brahma, and Indra; Shiva in her true essence.
- I bow forever to Meenakshi, the ocean of compassion.
The radiance likened to countless suns is the light of consciousness itself, not a distant deity. Bowing to the fish-eyed Goddess is turning inward to the compassion that is the very nature of the Self.
