वटुर्वा गेही वा यतिरपि जटी वा तदितरो नरो वा यः कश्चिद्भवतु भव किं तेन भवति यदीयं हृत्पद्मं यदि भवदधीनं पशुपते तदीयस्त्वं शम्भो भवसि भवभारं च वहसि ॥११॥

- whether student, householder, ascetic, matted ascetic or other
- नरो वा यः कश्चिद्भवतु भव किं तेन भवति
- whoever one may be, what of it, O Lord
- यदीयं हृत्पद्मं यदि भवदधीनं पशुपते
- if this lotus-heart belongs to You, O Pasupati
- तदीयस्त्वं शम्भो भवसि भवभारं च वहसि
- You become his, O Shambhu, and bear his worldly burden
Ashrama and status are irrelevant when the heart belongs to Shiva. The Lord Himself bears the devotee's burden; in Advaita this is the recognition that the Self carries all appearances while remaining free.
