आराध्य
having worshipped
नारी भूत्वा
having become a woman
स्मरः
Kāma, desire personified
मोहाय
for the stirring of enchantment

Mythic transformations here emphasize that beauty and desire are powers requiring discernment, not objects to be simplistically condemned. The study question is how attraction can be seen clearly - without repression and without mistaking it for the whole of reality.
