न जानामि शब्दं न जानामि चार्थं न जानामि पद्यं न जानामि गद्यम् । चिदेका षडास्या हृदि द्योतते मे मुखान्निःसरन्ते गिरश्चापि चित्रम् ॥२॥

- I do not know sound, I do not know meaning;
- न जानामि पद्यं न जानामि गद्यम् ।
- I do not know verse, I do not know prose.
- चिदेका षडास्या हृदि द्योतते मे
- Yet sole consciousness, the six-faced one, shines in my heart;
- मुखान्निःसरन्ते गिरश्चापि चित्रम्
- strangely, words pour forth from the mouths.
The acharya admits no mastery of metre; six-faced light in the heart pours forth inspired song. True praise arises not from literary skill but from the Lord's illumination within.
