प्रत्याहारप्राणनिरोधादिसमर्थै- र्भक्तैर्दान्तैः संयतचित्तैर्यतमानैः । स्वात्मत्वेन ज्ञायत एव त्वरया य- स्तं प्रत्यञ्चं दक्षिणवक्त्रं कलयामि ॥१८॥

Restrained devotees know him directly as the Self through prāṇāyāma and inward turning. Discipline clears the mind so the Lord is recognized as none other than oneself.
