यस्यांज्ञानादेव नृणां संसृतिबोधो यस्य ज्ञानादेव विमोक्षो भवतीति । स्पष्टं ब्रूते वेदशिरो देशिकमाद्यं तं प्रत्यञ्चं दक्षिणवक्त्रं कलयामि ॥२१॥

The Veda's crest declares: by his knowledge comes liberation from saṃsāra. The primal teacher is the Self whose nearness awakens and whose knowledge frees.
