कमले कमलाक्षवल्लभे त्वं करुणापूरतरङ्गितैरपाङ्गैः । अवलोकय मामकिञ्चनानां प्रथमं पात्रमकृतिमं दयायाः ॥२०॥

Poverty offered without pretence becomes the fit vessel for compassion. The destitute devotee discovers that emptiness of ego is precisely what opens the heart to the glance of the Self.
