देवि प्रसीद जगदीश्वरि लोकमातः कल्याणगात्रि कमलेक्षणजीवनाथे । दारिद्र्यभीतिहृदयं शरणागतं मां आलोकय प्रतिदिनं सदयैरपाङ्गैः ॥२१॥

- look upon me daily with compassionate sidelong glances
The closing prayer seeks a daily compassionate gaze upon a heart troubled by lack and fear. Refuge in the world-mother is the turning of attention to the Self that was never truly poor or afraid.
