प्रातः स्तुवे परशिवां ललितां भवानीं त्रय्यन्तवेद्यविभवां करुणानवद्याम् । विश्वस्य सृष्टिविलयस्थितिहेतुभूतां विश्वेश्वरीं निगमवाङ्मनसातिदूराम् ॥४॥

- At dawn I praise Lalita Bhavani, the supreme Shakti beyond Shiva.

- Who is the cause of the world's creation, dissolution, and preservation.

- Sovereign of the universe, far beyond Vedic word and mind.
She who is cause of creation yet beyond speech and thought is Maya-Shakti and also the supreme Brahman as the power of consciousness. Praise at dawn affirms that the world's ground is not other than the Self that knows it.
