रणद्धंसके मञ्जुलेऽत्यन्तशोणे मनोहारिलावण्यपीयूषपूर्णे । मनःषट्पदो मे भवक्लेशतप्तः सदा मोदतां स्कन्द ते पादपद्मे ॥९॥

- On the charming, exceedingly red swan-seat,
- मनोहारिलावण्यपीयूषपूर्णे ।
- full of the nectar of lovely grace,
- मनःषट्पदो मे भवक्लेशतप्तः
- may the mind-bee scorched by worldly troubles
- सदा मोदतां स्कन्द ते पादपद्मे
- always rejoice at your lotus feet, Skanda.
The mind-bee troubled by worldly heat may rejoice hovering at Skanda's red, nectar-filled lotus feet. The troubled mind finds rest and sweetness at the Lord's feet as a bee finds honey.
