हा हेत्येवं विस्मयमीयुर्मुनिमुख्या ज्ञाते यस्मिन्स्वात्मतयानात्मविमोहः । प्रत्यग्भूते ब्रह्मणि यातः कथमित्थं तं प्रत्यञ्चं दक्षिणवक्त्रं कलयामि ॥२४॥

- हा हेत्येवं विस्मयमीयुर्मुनिमुख्या
- chief sages cried "Ha! Ha!" in wonder thus
- ज्ञाते यस्मिन्स्वात्मतयानात्मविमोहः ।
- when known as one's own Self, delusion of not-Self ended
- प्रत्यग्भूते ब्रह्मणि यातः कथमित्थं
- how could it be otherwise when the inner Brahman stood revealed?
- तं प्रत्यञ्चं दक्षिणवक्त्रं कलयामि
- him, the inner one, the south-facing, I meditate upon
Sages cried in wonder when delusion ended and the inner Brahman stood revealed. The shock of recognition is the joy of discovering oneself as what was always sought.
