अमर्यादमेवाहमाबालवृद्धं हरन्तं कृतान्तं समीक्ष्यास्मि भीतः मृतौ तावकाङ्घ्र्यब्जदिव्यप्रसादा द्भवानीपते निर्भयोऽहं भवानि ॥३०॥

- हरन्तं कृतान्तं समीक्ष्यास्मि भीतः
- I am afraid;
- मृतौ तावकाङ्घ्र्यब्जदिव्यप्रसादा
- by the divine grace of your lotus feet at death,
- द्भवानीपते निर्भयोऽहं भवानि
- O Lord of Bhavani, I shall become fearless.
Death seizes all regardless of age, inspiring terror in the witness. Only the grace of Shiva's lotus feet at the moment of death can confer the fearlessness that is liberation.
