मणिसदनसमुद्यत्कान्तिधारानुरक्ते वियति चरमसन्ध्याशङ्किनो भानुरथ्याः । शिथिलितगतकुप्यत्सूतहुङ्कारनादैः कथमपि मणिगेहादुच्चकैरुच्चलन्ति ॥१०॥

- its pace slackened, the angry charioteer shouting,

- yet somehow the horses at last depart from the jewelled house.
Even the sun lingers before the Goddess's brilliance, for no created light outshines her. The devotee learns that all luminaries, outer and inner, derive their power from the one radiance of Tripura.
