जातीचम्पकपाटलादिसुमनःसौरभ्यसम्भावितं
Filled with the fragrance of jasmine, champaka, patala, and other flowers,
ह्रीङ्कारध्वनिकण्ठकोकिलकुहूप्रोल्लासिचूतद्रुमम् ।
with mango trees where kokilas rejoice, their throats echoing the sound of Hrim,
आविर्भूतसुगन्धिचन्दनवनं दृष्टिप्रियं नन्दनं
Nandana grove, dear to the eye, with fragrant sandal woods appearing,
चञ्चच्चञ्चलचञ्चरिकाचटुलं चेतश्चिरं चिन्तय ॥४॥
playful with restless bees; O mind, contemplate it long.

Nandana is the inner garden where mantra and fragrance mingle. The mind that lingers there learns that beauty and sacred sound arise from the same source, the Mother whose bija is the seed of creation.
