Word breakdown

त्वदक्ष्णोः कटाक्षः पतेत्त्र्यक्ष यत्र
Wherever the sidelong glance from your eyes falls, O three-eyed one,
क्षणं क्ष्मा च लक्ष्मीः स्वयं तं वृणाते
for a moment earth and Lakshmi herself choose that place;
किरीटस्फुरच्चामरच्छत्रमाला
with flashing crown, chowries, umbrellas, garlands,
कलाचीगजक्षौमभूषाविशेषैः
and ornaments of kalas, elephants, and silk -

A moment's glance from Shiva's eye makes earth and Lakshmi choose that place. The Lord's look transforms any spot into the centre of the universe, adorned with every royal splendour.
