यदा रौरवादि स्मरन्नेव भीत्या व्रजाम्यत्र मोहं महादेव घोरम् तदा मामहो नाथ कस्तारयिष्य त्यनाथं पराधीनमर्धेन्दुमौले ॥२७॥

Word breakdown
- यदा रौरवादि स्मरन्नेव भीत्या
- When remembering Raurava and other hells I go there in terror,
- व्रजाम्यत्र मोहं महादेव घोरम्
- and terrible delusion seizes me, O great God,
- तदा मामहो नाथ कस्तारयिष्य
- then who will save me, O Lord,
- त्यनाथं पराधीनमर्धेन्दुमौले
- helpless, dependent on others, O moon-crested one?
Terror of hell and delusion at death drive the soul to cry for rescue. The moon-crested Lord is the only saviour when all other supports have vanished.
