Site guide
Using This Site
A plain-language guide to finding stotras, reading verse by verse, choosing scripts, saving favorites, and adjusting text size on this site.
This site is built for daily chanting and quiet study. You do not need technical skill to use it. Follow the steps below, or open a stotra and learn as you read.
Find a stotra
Start from the home page, browse by deity, or open the full library. Each stotra has its own page with a short introduction and a grid of all verses.
Open and read
On a stotra page, tap Start chanting to open verse 1, or Read all verses to scroll the full text on one page. Try Nirvana Shatakam if you want a short six-verse introduction.
Move between verses
While reading one verse at a time, use Prev and Nextat the bottom of the screen. Tap the verse counter (for example, "Verse 2 of 6") to open a verse picker and jump anywhere. On a phone, you can also swipe left or right to change verses. Try moving to verse 2 of Nirvana Shatakam.
Choose your script
Tap the script menu above the text to switch between Devanagari, IAST, Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, or Kannada. The same Sanskrit source is shown in each script. You can also set a default in Settings.
Chant or Study
Use Chant for daily recitation when you want the sacred text without editorial notes. Use Study when you want word breakdown and reflection notes beside the verse. Switch anytime with the toggle above the text. Open verse 1 and try both modes.
Save and return
Tap Save on a stotra page to bookmark it for regular chanting. Saved stotras appear on the Saved Stotras page and on the home page. The site also remembers where you stopped; use Continue reading on the home page to resume.
Text size and theme
Tap Text size above the text to adjust verse size and line spacing for comfortable reading. Switch between light and dark theme with the sun or moon control. All display options are also available on the Settings page.
